It is no small feat that this firm, established modestly by Romeo Miranda earlier engaged in rewinding electric motors and accepting electrical contracts has grown to become an authorized and number one dealer and installer of almost all well-known brands of air-conditioners in the Philippines today.
Zephyr Engineering was established as Guaranteed Electrical Service in 1976, and after a few months only began to repair, install and maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration units. From small jobs, it went for bigger mechanical systems (central air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, plumbing and fire protection. Zephyr won its first contract to maintain a manufacturing plant when it impressed and eventually got the nod of Coca-Cola Export Corp.
It has through the years, been hard work quality jobs which Zephyr depended a lot on to survive hard times – particularly the ups and downs of the economy, and the stiff competition from various firms crowding each other in the market.

Zephyr Air Innovation Corporation began its humble beginnings as “Guaranteed Electrical Services” in 1976. Through rewinding electrical motors and catering to general electrical works. As the years went by, the single proprietary, Guaranteed Electrical Services,” eventually evolved to what is now Zephyr Air Innovation Corporation.

BACKGROUND
Zephyr started its fabrication of AHU and ACCU in Parañaque, where it maintains its factory. A warehouse is currently in Pembo, Makati City, while its main office and operations center are located at Makati City.
1996 was a memorable year for Mr. Miranda. The company name was changed from Guaranteed Electrical Service to Zephyr Engineering. There followed a series of events giving the firm a niche in the air conditioning field as major players named Zephyr its authorized dealer and installer. To wit: ABB Koppel in March 1996, Trane Philippines in May 1996, Alen-Aire in November 1998 and Concepcion-Carrier in June 1999.
As 1999 faded into the background and entered the new millennium, Zephyr was acknowledged the number one dealer of three major air conditioning brands - ABB Koppel, Trane Philippines and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Climate Control, Inc. The firm is also dealer and installer of products manufactured and sold by: McQuay, National, York, Uni-Aire and Gree.
Its mainline of activities at present are made up of service, installation, repair and maintenance of precision air-conditioning system, centralized air-conditioners (chilled water system / water cooled system), packaged split-type air-conditioners, freezers and walk-in chillers and process refrigeration.
Design, fabricate, install of precision air-conditioning system, ventilation system, centralized air-conditioning system, refrigeration system and industrial plant mechanical works. Fire protection of industrial, commercial and overhaul of all types and brands of compressor.
